My name is Elizabeth, and I'm a psychotherapist, a traveler, and a writer. I'm here to listen to all the different parts of you.

I’m here to look the pain and the loneliness and the anger in the eye and still be here. I blend my clinical experience with the latest research and the arts to help people understand and ultimately, live a richer and more full life.

More professionally, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. My bona fides include a Master’s from Palo Alto University in Clinical Mental Health and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from James Madison University.

Yes, I did 12 long, crazy years in technology where I was always more interested in the question of what my user really needed than what the technology could do for them. Since then, I’ve focused on training that emphasizes acceptance like the Family Acceptance Project for the LGBQT+ community or ways to narratively incorporate trauma into your story through Seeking Safety or TF-CBT.

But if you are asking if I can help you, I find my greatest delight in challenging those with hidden parts to step into the light and be uncomfortable so we can reach the shore that holds wisdom and joy. Finding ways to make sense of and to be proud of our entire story takes courage and determination and hard work. I would be honored to help you with that journey.
