"I hear that,⠀I get tired a lot too.⠀Would you tell me about it?"

"I wanted to talk about this because I care about you and I see you hurting and angry. "

"Okay,⠀why don't you think your depressed? Can you help me understand?"

Remind yourself and them that you are asking because you care and you hurt seeing them hurt.⠀This can't be ignored forever and it's important.⠀For more ideas,⠀try reaching out to a therapist for couples counseling.⠀They can help fascilitate a conversation that isn't about blame but about healing.
