You have needs.⠀They are important and need to b You have needs.⠀They are important and need to be honored.⠀When our partner has depression it can be hard to know what we are allowed to ask for or to express.⠀But it is so important to tell them.⠀If they can't meet them,⠀having a conversation about the impact of that on you is important.⠀They might not be able to meet your needs at that exact moment,⠀but both of you need to acknowledge and accept that they are there and will need to be met at some point soon.
